Why carbohydrates?
Cats are obligate carnivores — their natural diet is almost free of carbohydrates. Many dry foods still contain a lot of them, and the label won’t tell you how much. Foocat makes that number visible so you can choose with your eyes open.
The story behind Foocat
Foocat began when our cat Gizmo was diagnosed with diabetes after years of dry food. Five months of low-carb food, insulin and blood-sugar readings later, he went into remission — and the spreadsheet we used to find his food became this app.
